Before the parade\, the public will have a unique opportunity to ride in the horse drawn carriage that will carry Santa in the parade from 1:30-4:00pm. \nWith three new retailers located in Downtown Gardiner this holiday season\, shoppers will have more opportunities to support local businesses. Downtown Gardiner is an official location for “Small Business Saturday”\, Nov 29th\, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Gardiner’s “Cash Mob” organizers will be supporting a small business shopping frenzy of competitive shopping: From 1:00-4:30pm\, the shopper who spends the most in Downtown Gardiner\, and the shopper that buys from the greatest variety of businesses\, will receive a gift basket of prizes donated by local merchants.
